Mary Gates Scholars Ryan Gillis, Christina Wang, and Stephanie Zhu presented their research at the UW Mary Gates Undergraduate Research Festival. The titles for their presentations were: Gillis- Epoch specific manipulation of the nucleus reuniens during a spatial working memory task; Wang -Automated classification of vicarious trial and error behavior of rats in delayed spatial alternation task; Zhu- Coherence of single unit activity in the lateral habenula and theta oscillations in the hippocampus during a spatial memory task. Christina and Stephanie also submitted their research as their Honors Senior Thesis! What huge accomplishments! Way to go Ryan, Christina and Stephanie!!
